Originally built and designed for our own family, this unique and beautiful home on Pierce Pond truly is a “dream” home. It is situated on the edge of one of the most peaceful ponds in Downeast Maine. Shared with loons, herons, bald eagles and jumping wide mouth bass, Pierce Pond is one of the few bodies of fresh water that is not lined with camps and houses! And it’s also close to the magnificent coast. In 10 short minutes you can be in downtown Blue Hill or Castine and a ½ mile walk takes you to Northern Bay on the Penobscot coast.

Dragonfly Cove Homes is a philanthropic website that owner, Joanne Steenberg created in an effort to sell their solar powered home. We are not developers or real estate brokers, but we are marketers. We want to help people market their “alternative energy homes” in a unique and classy way and at the same time “give back” to the earth.
